Please forgive the already eaten food! This food is by far the Best Authentic Mexican food I have ever tasted! The service was fast and friendly. The ambiance is locals with a tourist vibe.

It's always delicious at La Corneta!!! I get the super burrito and it's so big I have enough for two meals - it's great. Recently I've been ordering ahead and picking up and the people there are so helpful when I arrive I had the Chile Relleno this time too and it was delicious!!!

It seems lots of the good gems restaurants in San Francisco are cash only in person . Countless of times I see people get turned away because they didn't read the signs( or check on Yelp). This makes people waste between 10-30 minutes especially at places with a long line. I like to come here well prepared and with an order already in mind because the line sometimes does not tolerate more than 3 minutes of indecision( the stink eye starts rolling in ). Corneta is a Mission style burrito ( they have location on 23rd and Mission street and also inside the Chase Center). The one on Diamond street in the Glen Park Village has one of the best surf and turf ( carne asada aka steak and prawns) burritos in San Francisco. I like how they make the prawns inside of here ( for certain reasons) rather the other location because they make it front of you while in line. They may add a little garlic seasoning flavoring and it is smooth and tasty. I always add avocado ( I skip guacamole) and it's a private symphony of flavors. I also like the green chicken burrito and also the salmon burrito is pretty good . Their tacos are okay. My other favorite is the mushroom quesadilla. They offer inside and outside dining ( via the parklet). This place stays very consistent. From the minute I walked through the door I was greeted and they were ready to take my order. I ordered a breakfast burrito and it was delicious. Also the indoor outdoor seating was clean and had a great environment. The kicker was before I left i used the restroom. It was one of the cleanest restrooms I have seen at a taqueria style restaurant. Highly recommended. Even to just use the restroom

GET THE SUPER QUESADILLA! My brother ordered the super quesadilla. I took a few bites of it. It was so yummy and I regretted ordering my burrito. The line took about 15 minutes. This is a cash only place. Make sure you bring some.

First time trying this place (as I walked in jumping up and down with excitement), never seen like this long. Lunch time around noon toward 1 pm, line was looping once and moving of the line is as 30 miles per hour lol. Went to scan all the choices up on the board, decided to go with tostada with birria meat. It was pleased. I enjoyed it so much. I asked to add green salsa and cilantro on top. Green salsa is super!! I didn't even make that good at home. On the pricey side but yea all the food we ordered was satisfying the craving for Mexican food. Here are some pics to feed your thoughts. I can't even imagine the weekend how long the line could be. Try them out!

Ordered on DoorDash and was delivered exactly as requested! I ordered a Al Pator super burrito ($14) which was small but mighty. The ingredients tasted fresh and balanced.. not heavy on the carbs nor the meat, which was perfect. Bonus point for the order coming with chips! Solid 4 star experience. Yummy Certified!

I'll keep trumpeting these folks' name. I go to this place often and the food there is consistent. It's a great operation, like a well-oiled machine and rightly so because it can get busy and you need to get a huge menu all served up and get them hungry people their food and back on their way. The food is good and they aren't stingy with their servings. And the best thing of all, the prices are reasonable. This is a great neighborhood restaurant in the Glen Park district.
